Teen Dependence on Technology and How to Prevent It

First, you must know that technology addiction. Technology addiction is also called internet addiction, internet disorder, etc. This is an addiction to online shopping, social media use, online gaming, and anything that includes trending digital technology. It is the cause of the uncontrollable rough use of technological devices like smartphones, computers, and gaming systems. Teenagers are in a hazard of developing the technology because they use the technology in the wrong way like online gambling, gaming, and pornography addiction.

How to Prevent Technology Addiction:

At present almost 70% of teenagers spending time 3-4 hours in front of the computer. They are also watching TV as a reason they keep building their health risks like obesity, diabetes, etc.

The solution to this habit is to go outside for walking or cycling, or physical activity for one hour per day before logging your computer. Start reading books a minimum of 10 pages per day. You create a schedule of daily working like books reading, and spend time with your friend without any digital gadgets.

Nowadays smartphone is common things that almost everyone has it. The main problem of teenagers is cell phone addiction. Teenager use phones for sharing photos, watching videos, etc. Many times that’s happened you fill your phone vibrate but it is not, you forget your phone and you run back home for pickup.

The solution is, you check your phone before dinner then you downwards your phone in silent mode. After dinner, your mind tells you to check the phone but you divert your mind from this. You will go outside for a short walk and watch nature’s beauty. It also helps your brain to better focus. You choose one day in a week that day you leave the phone at home, you get something that makes you happy.

Social networking site is best as time pass but it is injured to health when you are dependent on social networking. The teenagers are focusing on their all-time Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for chatting or personal blog. Here are many positive things but it’s not good for you to become a social networking addiction person.

The solution is, you divert your mind from social networking. Reduce your time spending on social networking and focus on real life. You watch social media on holidays for not so long and also read books.

The computer is the most valuable thing in human life. But it is not good to use it all the time. So many problems happen when you spend more time on the computer. Addiction to playing games on the computer is more powerful than drug addiction. This problem takes serious problems in features.

The solution to this problem is, first of all, it is very responsive for parents to tell the side effect of too much computer use. Setting the time limit on your computer is a good way. The parents set a password on the computer that the child doesn’t know. Move the computer from the child’s room. All day check the browsing history that the children visit.
