South Goa is a region with undeveloped beaches that was similar to North Goa a few decades ago. If you are looking for a peaceful vacation away from the increasing commercialization and crowds, North Goa is the place to be. ● Palolem, south Goa Beach Huts

There are many ways to travel to South Goa depending on your budget. You can fly to Goa’s airport and then get a pre-paid taxi at the arrivals. Depending on the distance you wish to travel south (Patnem Beach is usually the limit), it can take approximately an hour and a quarter to reach there. You will need to pay a 2,000 tax fare.

A few options are available for quiet and private getaways. The Dwarka Eco Beach Resort is located on Cola beach, 20 minutes north from Agonda. This resort is not to be confused by Colva beach. The resort is surrounded by a large palm grove, which abuts the lagoon and the ocean. It is just as beautiful as it sounds, and can be reached via a quiet gravel road.

It is a similar concept, and can be found near Palolem beach in an area with a coconut grove. It offers yoga and an Ayurveda centre.

● Agonda Beach is the best beach for relaxation in Goa.

If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind, Agonda is it. It is still quite undeveloped and tranquil. This long beach is about two miles in length and offers plenty of space for everyone. It is the beach with the most action

Palolem, South Goa’s most beautiful and interesting beach is located approximately 10 minutes south from Agonda beach. But don’t expect too much noise because South Goa isn’t like that! If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and still have easy access to Palolem’s nightlife, this is the perfect spot. Live music can be heard at Patnem’s beach shacks. Galjibag beach is a protected Olive Ridley Turtle breeding site. It is located approximately 15 minutes south from Patnem beach. The beach is relatively unknown and remains undeveloped. There is hardly anyone on this stretch of beach, which is heavily covered with Casuarina tree trees.
