Back to School: Here’s What Your Little One’s Safety Kit Must Have!

Right, with the Corona Virus wreaking havoc all over the nation, it was expected that the schools would shut. Well, ever since the vaccine shots are being distributed, the schools have started to reopen all across the nation. Here are a few things that you may want to keep in mind when it comes to your little one.

Apart from having to worry about the long-term effects of the pandemic, or whether the school exams would be conducted on time or stay canceled, you might also have to start worrying about one new spinoff, the black fungus. So, as you prepare your little one to head back to school, you may want to pack in some anti-fungal infection medicine. You may also want to search online for other medical kits and get them to deliver them home.

How to prep your little ones for school all over again:

Granted that most of us have taken the second shot by now and that we are vaccinated, it is but natural for schools to open again for business. But before you send your little one over, you may want to pack in a safety kit. These are some of the necessary medicines that your child’s safety kit must contain at all times.

  • Masks: It goes without saying that in these covid times, a reusable mask is one of the essential items that we adults have today. And naturally, as your kid heads back to school, you would want to add a few masks, even mark your kid’s name in a permanent marker so as to avoid any mix-up. You may also want to mark the top, bottom, and sides clearly as well.
  • Spare mask: It is always a good idea to pack in a few spare masks as well, for you never know when your kid may require one. He/She may have lost his original mask or lent it to a friend, in which case, he would need the spare mask.
  • Container for masks: You need to pack in a transparent, sealable bag for masks. This should enable your little one to locate his masks easily and even open them up on his own. This should help prevent cross-contamination.
  • Tissues: You may want to send your child to school with a few tissues. These tissues should come in handy when your kid feels like coughing or has a slight cold.
  • Hand sanitizer: This is one of the most important items you can pack in your kid’s safety kit. Make sure that the hand sanitizer is in a large bottle and that your kid uses it as soon as he comes into contact with someone new. Just remember that for the sanitizer to be effective, it must contain at least 60% alcohol and be alcohol-based.

These are some of the essential elements that you need to pack in your kid’s safety kit. You may also want to pack up some disposable gauze online in case he/she hurts themselves while playing. Just head online and go over to the Healthskool portal; you should be able to order a handy safety kit for your child as he heads back to school.
